Privacy notice

Marc Storch, Berlin, Germany. Email: hello@marcstorch.com

This site is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany, on servers in Germany. When you open it, the server automatically records technical data your browser sends: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page, and browser and operating system. This is needed to deliver the site and keep it secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). IONOS processes this data on my behalf under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). The logs are not combined with other data and are deleted after a short period.

Fonts are served from this server. No other third-party content loads unless you allow analytics.

Only if you click “Allow”, this site loads Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics sets cookies (_ga, _ga_*, kept for up to two years) and collects usage data such as the pages you view, your device and browser, and your approximate location. IP addresses are not stored. The data helps me understand how many people visit and what they look at. Advertising features are switched off.

The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG). Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA, which is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time with the “Cookies” link at the bottom of every page; the Google Analytics cookies are then deleted.

Your choice itself is stored in your browser’s local storage so the question isn’t asked again on every visit. This is strictly necessary to respect your choice (§ 25(2) No. 2 TDDDG).

If you email me, I use your address and message only to reply (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and delete them when they’re no longer needed.

Links to LinkedIn and CampfireFM open those sites. No data is shared with them until you click a link; from then on, their own privacy policies apply.

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 15–21 GDPR). Write to the email address above. You can also complain to a data protection authority, for example the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit.
